The Central Basin
The Central Basin of Lake Erie is one of Ohios best kept secrets. Walleyes, Steelhead, Smallmouth and Perch are abundant in its cool, clean waters off Lorain, Ohio. Walleye arrive in mid-May peak in July and stay until October. Steelhead are here two weeks either side of the July 4th along with the Walleyes. It doesn't get much better than that!

All fishing equipment is furnished! I try to keep fishing as simple as possible, using 16 trolling rods, Daiwa line counter reels, dipsy and jet divers and side planner boards. I will show you how to do it.
Come and enjoy the best day of fishing you will ever have. Set your own lines. Bait your hooks. Play your fish. You will do it all, except run the boat - that's my job! Trolling is the most productive way to fish, but if you prefer, we can drift or use long lines, or bottom bouncers or cast, if the weather permits.

Kids will love fishing for Smallmouth or Perch.
